After a frustrating  month of November that did not leave the Spurs with much joy, their game against Swansea at the weekend gave them the perfect start to this festive month as they look to get back into the top of the Premier League table. They are currently 7 points off the top of the Premier League table 14 games into the season and will have to fight really hard to have any chance of qualification. That position is of real importance for the team as their defeat to Monaco knocked them off the Champions League for the season. They will need at least a point from this game to keep their place in the Europa League intact and the manager is expected to field a fairly strong lineup for this game.

Here is the predicted lineup that he might play on the night:

Team News:

Star defender Toby Alderweireld is back in training and may be available for this game but the manager is not expected to risk him for this game. Ben Davies, Erik Lamela and Vincent Janssen are all absent for this game against Moskva. The manager is expected to field some of his youngsters to rest his first team stars for the weekend.

Hugo Lloris:

The first choice shot-stopper for the Spurs, Lloris, should keep his place in the side for this game against Moskva.

Kieran Trippier:

Deputising in place of injuries, the young but dependable defender should keep his place in the squad for this game against Moskva.

Jan Vertonghen:

Picking up some much-needed form recently, Vertonghen has assumed an important role in the absence of Alderweireld and should start this game at the weekend.

Carter-Vickers:

The youngster has been impressive in the few outings he got this season and it might be time for Pochettino to test him in a tough game like this against Moskva at home.

Danny Rose:

The Englishman is the first choice fullback for Spurs this season and should keep his place in the side for this game.

Eric Dier:

The versatile midfielder has been decent as a centre-back in recent games for the Spurs but he should start this game in the midfield on the night.

Harry Winks:

Another youngster who has been on the fringes of the side, Winks deserves some game time and should get enough of it in this game against Moskva.

Moussa Sissoko:

Finding no place in the first team, Sissoko has not been able to impress the manager recently but he will get his chance in this game against Moskva.

Joshua Onomah:

The 19-year old exciting midfielder has already shown what he is capable of in the few chances he got this season and he should start this game for the Spurs.

Kevin N’Koudou:

The French winger has not been able to live up to his expectations since his move to the club and should be at his best to prove himself at the weekend against Moskva.

Heung Min-Son:

The South Korean international has lost his form recently but with no chance of qualification, Pochettino might give him a chance to start as a centre forward.
