Why Ryan Fraser would be a brilliant fit for Nuno’s Wolves

According to a report from the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are interested in signing Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser during the January transfer window.

Ryan Fraser, 25, has been eyed by a number of bigger clubs after thriving with Bournemouth. During the 2018-19 campaign, he made 35 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for the Cherries, scoring seven goals and providing 14 assists in the process.

The winger has scored one goal and provided one assist in five Premier League appearances so far this season.

The Scotland international has been playing well for the Cherries for a while now, and there is no surprise that Wolves are the latest club to show an interest in securing his signature.

Fraser is out of contract at the end of the season but Eddie Howe is desperate to retain the services of their Player of the Season from the last term.

The report adds that the Cherries are preparing to offer Fraser £100,000 a week in order to fend off interest from their Premier League rivals. Wolves, however, could tempt the Scotsman by offering European football this season.

Wolves are winless in the new season, with Nuno’s men given a battering by Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at the weekend. Things aren’t just clicking at the moment for Nuno as his team is not only finding it difficult to defend but also are facing problems while breaching the opposition’s backline.
