Why Real Madrid must start pursuing Kylian Mbappe soon
Kylian Mbappe has been in the form of his life since he burst onto the scene with Monaco in 2017. The French forward left Monaco permanently to join Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2018 after having been with them for a year on loan.
According to AS English, Mbappe has set his sights on playing for Real Madrid in the future and Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed it saying he was well aware of Mbappe’s dream to play for them.
Former Monaco Vice-president has also confirmed that Mbappe moved to Paris since it was too early for him to play for Real Madrid.
Having won the world cup with France at just the age of 18, Mbappe seems to be a priority for many top European clubs including Liverpool. According to the Mirror, Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann has claimed that Mbappe is a top target at Anfield and the fans would be excited to see his arrival.
Mbappe’s consistency
With 27 goals and 16 assists for Monaco in 2017, he helped them win the Ligue 1 for the first time in 17 years. He became an exciting talent at Monaco and soon, Paris Saint-Germain knocked on the door.
He has performed at the top level for Paris and earned a spot in Didier Deschamps’ team for the World Cup in the summer of 2018 at a very young age. Thereafter, he continued his heroics and became the youngest player since Pele to score in the World Cup finals at the age of 18.
Mbappe has continued to deliver for Paris and is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.
Madrid’s Galactico signing
Considered as one for the future, Mbappe holds the key to Madrid’s success. Los Blancos have been without any trophies after deciding to sell their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
Kylian Mbappe is a skilful player. His sprinting abilities had been a nightmare to many defenders and he cannot seem to be caught with the ball at his feet. With Karim Benzema ageing, Mbappe would be the ideal fit for Los Blancos.
The French talent can sort out Real Madrid’s problems in the attack. Bale and James Rodriguez have been out of the team due to injuries and various other reasons.
Vinicius Junior has also not been up to the mark while Rodrygo Goes has come into the frame lately but is yet to establish himself in the main team.
