Manchester United Opinion: Suso will be a perfect fit for the Red Devils

Suso has been one of the most important players for AC Milan in the last couple of seasons. The Spaniard has shone this campaign as well, managing 5 goals and 8 assists in 24 Serie A games thus far.

With Suso sprinkling his magic again and helping Milan to third place in the Serie A table with 12 games to go, Manchester United should make a move for him this summer.

Manchester United have enjoyed a fantastic renaissance in form under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has helped the club climb up to fourth in the table.

The Reds’ creative players have shown excellent understanding and chemistry with one another under Solskjaer, making them an even more potent weapon.

And the complete change in style of play and dynamics of the team has given United an excellent chance to clinch a top four spot which looked highly improbable under Jose Mourinho’s management.

But as far as United’s attacking style of play is concerned under Solskjaer, they tend to create more chances from the left. That has at times made them predictable and one-dimensional, leaving the production from the right wing absolutely negligible.

The Red Devils have lacked a genuine right winger who can create chances, score goals and work in tandem with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.

Lingard has done well on the right but he likes to drift in to create openings for his teammates, and so does Juan Mata, while Alexis Sanchez continues to be a shadow of his former self.

Come summer, United desperately need a right winger with blistering pace, dribbling skills and crossing abilities. That would certainly make the signing of Suso perfect for the Red Devils.

Blessed with pace, skill on the ball and ability to create things out of nothing, Suso would undoubtedly add balance to United’s attack. His best position is as a right winger but he can also play in behind the striker or as a false 9, meaning the diminutive Spaniard will give tactical flexibility in the attack.

With Martial, Rashford, Lingard and Suso plus the likes of Mata, Lukaku and Sanchez in the ranks Manchester United would become one of the most devastating sides in Europe.

The former Liverpool ace would give the team real width and creativity from the right, whilst also being an excellent counter-attacking outlet.
