Man City replacing Sane with this Bundesliga speed demon would be a totally perfect move

Why Kingsley Coman to Manchester City would be an outstanding move

According to Sky Sports, Manchester City are considering making a move for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as a replacement for Leroy Sane.

Sane is still recovering from his cruciate ligament injury and has been out of the team since August. The Metro has confirmed that Bayern Munich have made a new move for the German after City rejected an initial bid of £72m.

Kingsley Coman started his career as a youth player for Paris Saint Germain and then moved to Juventus in 2014. He went on a two-year loan spell to Bayern Munich and then made his move permanent in Germany.

The French international has since then made 139 appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 28 times. He has already played for the top teams in Europe and has established himself as one of the best left-wingers.

Pep Guardiola has managed Coman for a season during his time at Allianz Arena and City are considering him as the perfect replacement for the injured Sane.

Manchester City are currently 4th in the league table after losing heavily to Liverpool before the international break. They have been without a proper back-up for Raheem Sterling, who has featured in all the games and cannot be rested.

Bringing the 23-year-old to the squad would add power to their attacking ranks and Coman is capable of playing at a higher level.

This season, he has featured in 10 games for Bayern Munich and has scored one and provided two assists for this team. Though not a powerful goalscorer for his team, Coman’s knack of finding his strikers has been impressive.

He played a major part in Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title-winning campaign last season.

A natural left-winger, Coman can play on the right and as a second-striker too. His versatility can be a huge bonus for Guardiola at Manchester City.

Playing alongside the likes of Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Bernado Silva, Coman would be a player who can easily help them in counter-attacking situations due to his extremely high pace. It has been evident throughout his career so far.

He is known for his pace and his dribbling has been eye-catching. According to whoscored, Coman has an average of 3.3 shots, 3.3 dribbles and 2.3 key passes per game. His pass success rate accumulates to 91.6%.

At 23, Coman has a handful of experience and has never been short of putting in bright performances. He could become a key member at Manchester City and help them move to the top. The only issue for Coman has been his fitness levels due to a number of injuries he has picked up during his time in Germany.
