Why Everton should keep hold of Moise Kean in January
Reports from Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t Daily Mail) suggests that Moise Kean’s agent, Mino Raiola, has contacted AC Milan over a possible move for the player.
The report further suggests that Mino Raiola is concerned about the youngster’s lack of playing time at Everton and could help him by orchestrating a move back to Italy.
Kean, who joined for €32m, has not enjoyed a scintillating start to his Everton career. He has played only one game for 90 minutes and to make matters worse, Marco Silva has continued to prefer Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Recently, Marco Silva dropped the player for the game against Southampton, according to The Guardian. Kean had been late to Everton’s team meeting for the second time and eventually, the manager left him out of the squad.
Coming through Juventus’ youth ranks, Kean made his debut for the first team last season and scored 6 goals in 13 games. He was also on the score sheet against AC Milan in the Suppercoppa Italiana, which saw Juventus lift the trophy that year.

Although Kean made a big-money move from Turin to Everton in the summer, he hasn’t lived up to his potential.
Kean has been unable to score goals in the 11 games he has featured in so far, despite being one of the most feared youngsters while at Juventus last season.
However, at the age of 19, it was a risk worth taking to play in the Premier League. Though it did not pay off well, Kean still has the potential to become a fearsome striker.

According to whoscored, his passing accuracy reads 86.7%, which is not bad for a 19-year-old in the Premier League. Though he can play as a second striker and a left-winger, Kean thrives as a centre forward.
At Everton, with Oumar Niasse’s term coming to an end, the Toffees will be left with only three strikers – including Moise Kean. In that case, Silva cannot risk sending the youngster away from Goodison Park.

Everton must ensure that Kean stays put. With the Toffees languishing 15th in the table, they must retain the Italian. He can guarantee goals once he picks up the pace and must be kept at the club.
