Why Chelsea should make a move for Krzysztof Piatek next summer
According to a report in Express, Chelsea have been linked with a move for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek once their transfer ban is lifted, be it in January or next summer.
Piatek has been one of the leading marksman in the Serie A for the past two years. Despite a slow start to this season, his record at Milan since joining them in January 2019 has been terrific.
On other hand, Chelsea had a transfer ban imposed, so they couldn’t sign any players in the past summer. In spite of that, they have made a good start to the season under Frank Lampard.
However, here’s why the Blues should look to sign Piatek in the next summer transfer window:
Piatek would add goals and competition up front
Krzysztof Piatek is a top-quality centre-forwardm, who has risen through the ranks in Poland and is now one of the better goal scorers in the Italian top-flight.
With 14 goals and an assist in 30 appearances in all competitions for AC Milan since joining them back in January, the 24-year-old has shown his prowess in the final third.
In terms of his attributes, Piatek possesses good pace to make runs in behind. He is a solid finisher in and around the opposition box and can link-up play in the final third, He is also a physically strong player on/off the ball.
If Chelsea manage to sign him, they would have a player who can add goals to their team and also enhance the competition in the centre-forward department.

It won’t be foolish to say that Frank Lampard and his men would be right to sign Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan during the next summer transfer window.
