The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has starred under Unai Emery thus far, after receiving opportunities to showcase his talent during the club’s tour to Singapore.

Smith Rowe scored a wonderful solo effort against Atletico Madrid before shining in Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain. The England U17 World Cup winner has been tipped for a bright future, having made a solid impression on Emery.

The Arsenal manager was visibly happy with the youngster and he said –

“I am pleased with Emile’s contribution so far this pre-season. He is working very hard and has lots of potential. I look forward to working with him and the other young players and helping them to develop as Arsenal players.”

The 18-year-old’s close control with the ball is imperious, mixed with his audacity to perform tricks to slide past defenders. He joined Arsenal’s Hale End Academy in 2010 and has been a constant performer under the tutelage of the academy managers.
