Arsenal shouldn’t hesitate one little bit to splash £30m on this Spanish creative genius – agreed?

Why Arsenal should meet Real Madrid demands for Dani Ceballos

According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid have rejected Arsenal’s £25million bid for Dani Ceballos, who is currently on loan at the Emirates Stadium. Even though the La Laga giants have dropped their valuation for Ceballos, they are still demanding at least £30million.

Ceballos is one of the only two creative midfielders in the Gunners squad. Ceballos has shown his quality in the limited game time he has received in the Premier League this season. He made his league debut by coming off the bench in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Newcastle United in their league opener.

Ceballos showed his worth in the 26 minutes he played against Steve Bruce’s team and was rewarded with his first Premier League start in the next game against Burnley. The 23-year-old showed his magical touches and provided two assists in the 2-1 win in his first game at Emirates Stadium.

However, Ceballos struggled against Liverpool and admitted he ran out of gas against the Reds. He said he had never seen a team play better than Liverpool which led him to drop to the bench in his next game.

Since then, Unai Emery has reduced Ceballos’ game time. So far, Ceballos has played 479 minutes but has shown the creativity which other players at Arsenal lack except Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal have quality in the attack in the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe. However, they lack a supplier who can work around the ball and create chances for them. Ceballos’ performance have also led him to earn a place for Spain, where he has played four games so far.

Emery preferred to start Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi, and youngster Joe Willock ahead of him during their 1-0 defeat against newly-promoted Sheffield United.

Willock clearly didn’t match the standards shown by Ceballos and the Gunners failed to create goal-scoring opportunities that the Spaniard could do for Arsenal.

A permanent deal will commit Ceballos to the Gunners. It would be seen as a sign of faith from the London club. Emery must keep the fellow Spaniard further than his loan deal.

A £5million more for a quality like Ceballos should mean nothing for a club like Arsenal, who have been playing regularly in Europe.
