WHOA! Arsenal Officials Make A Shopping Trip To Monitor Manchester United And Liverpool Target

Transfer News

Premier League giants Arsenal fought really hard to secure a superb 2-0 win over Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to earn their first points in the Champions League group stages this term. Despite that, the Gunners already had their representatives at work elsewhere. There is no doubt that Arsene Wenger’s side would have been focused on the game at hand though an official of the north London club was at the game between FC Porto and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Further, Portuguese newspaper A Bola added that officials from club’s league rivals Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool were there as well.

The likely target seems to be Ruben Neves, who captained Porto once again, at the age of just 18 and many clubs across Europe are looking to acquire his services. A defensive midfielder with a contract at the Portuguese club until June 2019.

However, another potential target could have been Yacine Brahimi, a 25-year-old attacking midfielder, though Wenger’s side don’t really need one at the moment.
