MK Dons have gained a reputation of producing incredible talents. They have already produced in the name of Dele Alli, who is now a star for Tottenham Hotspur and for the England national team.
Playing for the U18s now, Martin is yet to sign a professional contract with the club, hence, he could sign for any other club on a compensation package, making him a more attractive prospect. (h/t Mirror)
Without further ado, let’s take a look about the player, his playing style and much more in a scout report:
Scout Report – Recoe Martin
Recoe Martin plays for the MK Dons Under-18s and operates mainly as a striker. He is predominantly left-footed, but defenders wouldn’t want to take a risk when the ball is on the other foot as well.
The 18-year-old can play on either wing, preferably on the right, because he can then cut inside to unleash a shot towards goal, allowing the fullback to overlap.
The teenager possesses the pace and all the trickery to be a fine player for the senior team. He can also operate as a support striker, just like Dele Alli, who he is associated with these days.
Martin gained surreal attention when he scored five in a game for the Mk Dons’ under-18s, helping the team to come back from 0-2 down and beat Leyton Orient 5-2 last week. (h/t Mirror)
That game showed that the striker is lethal in front of goal and he understands when to make the right runs to become available in space and have a chance of scoring goals.
