He is being linked with a move to Liverpool and several other clubs in big European leagues, chiefly because of the versatility he possesses. He has magical feet and an eye for a key pass is always there while moving across the midfield to impact the game and create chances.

Omur has lovely dribbling skills to go past the opposition players in a flash, doing so at the rate of 1.3 per game in the Turkish league this season. With a pass success of over 86%, the attacking midfielder depicts his propensity to be secure in possession. The balance of the body when he controls the ball and holds off players is fantastic, to say the least. (Stats courtesy: whoscored.com)

He may yet have to learn the art of being involved in a game of football without possession, but the Turk is only 19 now and has a lot of years ahead to learn the game in its entirety. One thing is clear – the way Omur makes use of the ball, there aren’t many who can do that.
