Who Is This 23-year Old Argentine Targeted By Liverpool? Can He Fit Into The Klopp System?

Jurgen Klopp is in the pursuit to rebuilt his squad. The main area where he needs to strengthen is the striker’s positions. It seems that Christian Beneteke is not part of the plans of Klopp where on the other hand, Daniel Sturridge is always a hit when it comes to injuries. But do Divock Origi, Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino fit the bill when the talk is about a ‘Pure Striker’?

Well, none of them have reached double figures so far for Jurgen Klopp’s side and they sit ninth in the Premier League, seven points off the top four.

In his pursuit, Klopp is targeting the 23-year-old Argentine forward, Lucas Alario. But who is Lucas Alario?

The 23-year-old started his professional career with Buenos-Aires club River Plate. He made his debut on July 11, 2015. Before that, he was playing for Colon a club in his native province. Alario made his Argentine Primera Division debut in 2011 as a substitute.

Not a well-known figure in Europe, this young player is currently shining in the Argentine league. Alario is performing impressively and playing a major role in scoring the goals for the team.

The little boy is very intelligent in his movements and is famous for his good reading of the game and is often compared with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He is not a great goal poacher, but he is capable of finding the teammates when unable to do things on his own. He has got some quick feet and has scored 12 goals for his side, not just that, he has 5 assists to his name as well.

The question that remains is- Can the tiny Argentine match the standards of this fast-paced English Premier League?

This young boy is a complete centre-forward and can work well under the management of Klopp. All he need is to maintain his confidence and Klopp can surely help him out in this case. He can enjoy his performances alongside the quick English striker Daniel Sturridge.

The Argentine will definitely need some time to settle down in the Premier League but once he is done, he can be a hurricane.

Alario is currently valued at €5m and the team will be demanding something around 7million for sure.

The player is not the complete striker but Klopp knows how to refine the youngsters to make them a big gun in the footballing world.
