On 16th April 2016, he made his professional Ipswich Town debut in a Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday. The youngster came on as a half-time substitute in that game and scored the equalizing goal for the team in fabulous circumstances. Scoring on his senior debut at such a tender age undoubtedly showed signs of maturity.

Unfortunately, Dozzell tore his Cruciate Ligament during the 2017/18 season’s opening game against Birmingham City, ruling him out for the rest of the campaign. He has now made a comeback and looks good to rebuff all the lost time.

Attribute-wise, the 19-year-old is a combative box-to-box midfielder who can pass the ball with accuracy, find spaces in tight areas and go past people to open up space either for a shot or a pass towards the goal.
