According to a report in the Sun, Championship hopefuls Leeds United will be scouting Bolton’s young starlet Luca Connell, alongside eight other Premier League clubs.
It is suggested that the officials related to those clubs were at the game between the Wanderers and Derby County at Pride Park. Even though the result didn’t go in his favour, Connell had a decent game, epitomising his first season in the Championship (h/t Sun).
The 17-year-old first caught the eye when he made his debut in January. Southampton and Brighton did bid for him, but the offer was rejected. Now, Wolves, Everton and Tottenham are also tracking the player. (h/t Sun)

Connell is a Liverpool-born scholar, who began his youth career in Bolton. He arrived at the club in 2010 and played in various age levels of the youth academy.
He eventually made his debut for the senior team on the 5th of January 2019 in an FA Cup tie. Since then, the teenager has been a sensation in midfield for the Wanderers.
In terms of flexibility, Connell can play as a defensive midfielder or in central midfield, running the game from box-to-box. He likes to make interceptions and tackles to win possession back for the team.
On the ball, the 17-year-old likes to dribble past people in tight areas, pick out accurate passes and is never shies away from shooting on sight. Hence, if time and space is afforded around the opposition box, Connell is expected to shoot on goal.
