What Will Moyes, Mourinho And Pellegrini Do In Their First Season?

There are three new key managers in the UK soccer premiership. As it happens they are 3 new managers for 3 out of 4 biggest teams in the Barclays Premiership. Whether you enjoy watching the game for fun or betting online, you will be interested in these advancements.

We see the departure of Mancini from the Etihad, as he failed to improve on a very poor champion’s league performance in the last season. City also lost by a huge margin to United in the league. The defeat in the FA CUP to local northern team Wigan also proved to be a shocker. Some would argue that the club has set its expectations too high, with City being a prime example of the philosophy that money can’t buy everything. It certainly didn’t buy them trophies last season.

With a seemingly impossible role ahead of him, Manuel Pellegrini has come from Malaga to take charge at the Etihad. He has experience in the Champions league as well as an impressive record managing some of the biggest names in football at one of his former clubs Real Madrid. There are several questions looming over the head of the new manager, mainly can he deliver the immediate morale boost necessary for the new season, and more so strong spending requires a top leader, is Pellegrini the man to take the helm?

Mourinho is set to make a Premiership return at his former club, another former Real Madrid manager; he comes with an impressive Pedigree and vast successful experience at his former club. He has a no nonsense attitude and certainly is not going struggle to win over the fames 12th man, the Chelsea Fan base. Chelsea has been a club like City that has failed to live up to expectations (domestically) in the previous season. They have however managed to win the Champions League and the Europa league without his assistance, so the pressure is on not only for him to perform at home but also domestically as well. If they manage to spend well and keep top players, they shouldn’t have any trouble with Mourinho at the helm and look likely to impress this season.

Last but by no means least, we saw one of the greatest managers of all time retire this season, Sir Alex Fergusson. In football prediction is everything and predictably David Moyes (former Everton manager) has taken the role from the football stalwart. Fergusson left united in fantastic shape, Moyes has a solid team that is positive and focused giving him as the new man in charge the best possible opportunity leading into the season. It is clear that Moyes did a fantastic job at his former club given that he was ticking it over on minimal budgets with few world breaker players.

There are yet to be some exciting transfers across the board, and all 3 clubs and managers are under immense pressure to impress and perform both at home and abroad. It’s thought united will tip the balance, Chelsea to pick up the FA cup again and City possibly looking strong in Europe.
