What is the best way to find Champions League tickets?

The 2019-20 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draws just wrapped up and already the demand from fans from all over the world to be at the deciding stages of the Champions League is at an all-time high.

According to google trends, There was an approximate rise of 1000% in search volume in the past 48 hours.

SeatPick a ticket search engine that compares tickets from multiple sites, found that prices are already at an all-time high at this point.

If you are not a season cardholder or you are unable to buy a ticket at the official site through the general sale then you will need to try your luck on the Resale market where prices are affected by supply and demand.

SeatPick key findings from data analysed from over 30 different ticket markets:

Not surprising the most expensive match is Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid with a starting price of 390€ per ticket on the resale market.

Liverpool is indeed keeping the huge demand for tickets from fans all over the world and while it is on a historic run in the Premier League they can also potentially defend their title in the CLF this year.

You will also need to shed an approximately 250€ for the highly anticipated clash between Bayern Munich and Chelsea on the 18th of march.

There are some massive clashes in this round of the Champions League,

Some of the more affordable clashes are:

  • Real Madrid vs Man City – with a starting price of 149€ – any dramatic result here will definitely affect the prices on the second leg, a draw or a small margin win from either team will lead to an expensive second leg, even though Man City tickets are relatively easy to get this season.
  • If you are after catching the PSG vs Dortmund match then you should probably aim for the match being hosted at the German side, where it is easier to find tickets, currently, a single match ticket will cost – 115€.
  • Not surprisingly the least expensive match is the Valencia vs Atalanta BC match with an 80€ per ticket entry price.
