What Does Arsenal, Manchester United And Other Big Clubs Need To Do In The Transfer Window?

The transfer window is close to being shut and while most teams have finished the business for this season, there still is time to pull off that great deal which can push a team to another level. Most clubs in the Premier League have the big bucks to sign any player they want and we look at what the big four clubs need to work on to ensure they do not get left out by the other teams.

Arsenal

There aren’t any real cracks at Arsenal which need taping over, they got their goalkeeper to fix their problems, but maybe they need another top striker to provide some cover and competition to Olivier Giroud. Also they might want to get a central defender to help out Koscielny and company but all in all, Arsenal had a great team to start with, they just need to keep them fit for the season.

Chelsea

Chelsea blow hot and cold, while their attack hasn’t been a great problem, their defence is a shambles and they really need to bring in a top central defender to help out John Terry. That is one position which really needs to be taken care off by Jose Mourinho. The rest of the squad seems alright and buying that defender, John Stones could be the man to solve the headache for Chelsea.

Liverpool

From all the teams in the league, it seems that Liverpool have the least requirements in this transfer window. They already signed a lot of players and don’t really need a lot of additions to the squad but one thing they would love to have is a good defensive midfielder, Lucas Leiva is the only player who plays that role and maybe they just need to get that one into the team and they could break into the top four this season, especially if they play the way they did against Arsenal.

Manchester United

Louis van Gaal

Well, we all know what they require and that is a striker and a central defender but for some reason Louis van Gaal has not been able to get the players that they need to cover the positions. They have tried their best to bring in a lot of defenders but most have shied away from the club, even Pedro decided to move to Chelsea at the last moment. There still are a few days left in the transfer window and United could still pull off a coup, they have Ed Woodward on their side and we all know the kind of magic he pulls off.
