What Arsenal Needs To Do To Beat Chelsea? Keep These Men Shackled

A big battle is set to take place in the Premier League as two London clubs go head to head in a clash at the top of the table. First placed Chelsea take on second-placed Arsenal and Chelsea know a win against their rivals would certainly hand them another Premier League crown, Arsenal might be 10 points behind their rivals but that would not be playing on their mind and they will be looking to knock the grins off the Chelsea players faces at the end of the 90 minutes.Arsenal and Chelsea know a win against their rivals would certainly hand them another Premier League crown, Arsenal might be 10 points behind their rivals but that would not be playing on their mind and they will be looking to knock the grins off the Chelsea players faces at the end of the 90 minutes.

If Arsenal are to turn around a 10 point gap, they first need to knock the wind out of Chelsea’s sails, easier said than done as Chelsea have looked really good this season, however their last 2-3 games have not been that good in terms of dominating the opponents while Arsenal have slowly but surely gotten their mix of players right and more or less look like a proper challenge to a very strong Chelsea side.

Go Gunners go!

Hazard

The first thing that Arsenal needs to do to keep the Chelsea team from scoring is to shackle Eden Hazard, again that will not be an easy task but Hector Bellerin and either Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanchez would have to track back or defend with their lives to keep the player quiet in the game. Chelsea’s biggest weapon is the young Belgian and curtailing him would go a long way to help Arsenal on their difficult road to victory.

The midfield of Chelsea has been strong as well but taking Nemaja Matic out of the equation would be another measure Arsenal has to take to give them some hope of winning the game. Arsenal have someone in the likes of Francis Coquelin who has looked brilliant in his appearances for the Gunners and he would need to play out of his socks to ensure that Matic has a quiet game, as soon as that happens, Chelsea do not look invulnerable and can be there for the taking.

The last and final step would be to give the ball to Alexis Sanchez and let him do the magic, while the game is supposed to be played as a team, there should be no shame in relying so much on one star, Sanchez knows how to deal with tough players and can play in others to give them chances to score. Sanchez might be one of the players to keep an eye out for, but Arsenal do have other match winners in their side.

Ozil, Giroud and Cazorla can all make that difference in the London derby, who knows, maybe even an unknown players could turn up to be the important match winner for the Gunners.
