West Brom vs Livepool Player Ratings

Simon Mignolet – 6.5/10

Decent game from the Belgian goal keeper. Did well to stop Gareth McAuley’s header in the second half.

Jon Flanagan – 6.5/10

Another disciplined performance. Did well in both defensive and offensive fronts. Probably one of the most improved players of this season.

Martin Skrtel – 7/10

Dealt with Matej Vydra very well. Energetic performance.

Kolo Toure – 4/10 (FLOP OF THE GAME)

Kolo Toure had a nightmare moment when he gifted the ball to Victor Anichebe who finished it in style. These are the mistakes that may cost them in their race to finish top four this season.

Aly Cissokho – 5/10

Average display from the left back. Did okay in attack but lost possession so many times in some dangerous areas.

Philippe Coutinho – 6/10

He did his part in the goal but other than that not much to show for the Brazilian play maker.

Steven Gerrard – 6.5/10

Controlled the midfield well and did his job of play making from deep by distributing accurate short passes all around the pitch. May be Rodgers should think about playing Gerrard in advanced positions.

Jordan Henderson – 6/10

Full of engine as usual but failed to make any direct impact in the game.

Raheem Sterling – 7/10

Another good display from the wonder kid. Twisting and turning, he made life difficult for West Brom defence.

Luis Suarez – 7.5/10

Gave an assist to Sturridge’s opening goal and almost scored one himself when he elegantly worked himself some space in front of the goal but his shot was saved by the opponent goal keeper.

Daniel Sturridge – 7/10

Scored the opening goal and also made some decent runs in the penalty box. His goal scoring run continues.

Substitutes

Martin Kelly – 6/10

Joe Allen – 6/10
