“Why so low?”, “Ready for a system crash” – Several West Brom fans question ticket allocation for FA Cup clash against West Ham

West Brom beat Charlton in the previous round and travel to West Ham in the FA Cup

Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion don’t have an easy task as they face West Ham United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Bilic would also be looking forward to facing his former side, however, there is a bit of a problem with the ticket allocation.

West Brom confirmed that they had only been granted an allocation of less than 5,000 tickets for the clash at the London Stadium.

The Championship leaders would have expected a larger ticket allocation given the capacity of the London Stadium.

Bilic’s side beat fellow Championship side Charlton in the previous round, and they could have sprung a surprise in the next round.

West Ham were one of the more inconsistent sides under former manager Manuel Pellegrini and Premier League survival has to be the plan for new boss David Moyes.

Many fans were upset at the allocation. Some shared their frustration at the tickets on sale while others were worried that the West Brom site would go down.

West Brom aiming for Premier League

A good run in the FA Cup would be a boost but West Brom have bigger fish to fry.

Returning to the Premier League has to be on the cards for Bilic. However, West Brom haven’t won any of their last five Championship games.

They lead the league by one point and need to ensure their FA Cup commitments don’t come in the way of a top-flight campaign next season.

It would be a great achievement from Bilic after some close shaves in recent years, and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes for them.
