Even though Arsenal are considered as favourites to sign Real Madrid star Sami Khedira, any potential deal was stalled due to the player’s huge wage demands.
When Wenger was asked (in his latest interview) about whether Arsenal have enquired to Real Madrid about Khedira, he replied in a teasing manner,
“You want me always to buy more. Where do I put them all?”
“What is enquire for you?”
“But If I read the newspaper, he (Khedira) is available. Thank you.”
Arsenal are having a good transfer window anyway. They have roped in Sanchez, Debuchy, Chambers and Ospina till now. With one more super solid defensive midfielder, their team will be perfectly ready to challenge for trophies this season. Apart from Khedira other DMs like Willian Carvalho and Josuha Guilavogui are also linked with a move to Emirates.
