Arsenal fans can breath a sign of relief as speedster Theo Walcott along with German youngster Serge Gnabry have resumed training are likely to be available for first team action when the Premier League resumes this weekend.

Too add to that there has been positives on the return date of striker Olivier Giroud, who was initially feared to be out till the start of next year. The French International suffered a foot injury during a 2-2 draw against Everton back in August and following a successful operation, it has been confirmed that Giroud is ahead of schedule.

As reported by the Dailymail, Wenger has confirmed the news.

“Olivier Giroud is recovering very well. I believe he is ahead of schedule in terms of rehabilitation. The operation went perfectly.”

However, the big news is the return of Theo Walcott to first team training which has got the Arsenal fans most excited after a horrible few weeks in terms of injuries and results.

And finally Arsenal’s concerns over the fitness of Danny Welbeck have been eased after the striker limped out of England’s Euro 2016 qualifying victory in Estonia on Sunday. Reports from the England camp have confirmed that the striker is fit to play for the Gunners this weekend.

So if all goes well, Arsenal would have Walcott, Gnabry, Welbeck, OX and Sanchez to play in the attacking positions while Giroud’s recovery is speeding up. Wenger has also talked about the possibility of the former Manchester United man to play alongside Giroud upon his return.

“Welbeck and Giroud can play together in the centre or separately. Welbeck also played on one side to Manchester United. Welbeck played in the same team with Rooney and van Persie. He can play down the sides.”
