Arsenal made an impressive start to the season as they sit second in the league table with three concecutive wins. Two weeks back some rumors claimed that Wenger will extend his Arsenal contract soon with the gunners. But the Italian media says otherwise. They claim that Arsenal are already planning to replace Wenger and Juventus manager Anotnio Canute is believed to be their first preference.
In Italy, these reports also claimed with Anotnio Conte leaving Juventus in next summer to Emirates, Wenger will mostly leave to his home country to manage the new rising giant, PSG. PSG appointed Laurent Blanc as their manager last summer but their board wants a world class manager with long term plans like Wenger to manage the team. They believe Wenger’s arrival will start a new revolution in French football.
Meanwhile, In Juventus, even with all the success Conte had with the club, it is believed that Conte is not happy with Club’s plans for the future and also their transfer policy. It is a known news that he never wanted players like Llorente and Bendtner (last season), but those moves were forced by the management on him. So, there is a possibility of him leaving the Turin club at end of this season to take up the new adventure in England.
But mostly these rumors should not be taken seriously as everyone who follows English football knows about Wenger’s loyalty to Arsenal. With Arsenal ready to spend money again, why would he leave the club he loves so much?
