Wenger Talks About Giroud Explusion

Arsenal star Olivier Giroud was expelled from the starting line-up against Bayern Munich. He didn’t start against Liverpool in the FA cup too. It is believed that off the pitch issues was the reason behind Wenger’s decision to leave out the French Striker.

I now have to fight for my family and for my club and obtain their forgiveness. Nothing else matters at the moment.

When questioned about this Wenger said, (Source: ESPN)

“[Giroud] is completely focused, He is a strong man I must say, he is a strong guy. We have all our weaknesses and strengths. Some of us when we have problems outside of the field we use the pitch or our work to forget about our problems. He will focus completely on the pitch.”

“I wouldn’t like to explain to you why he was left out [against Bayern]. Is he likely to feature this weekend — yes. He is part of a refreshment plan for the weekend.”

Arsenal face Sunderland at Emirates this weekend. Giroud or Sanogo, who ever starts, they should give their 100% best as Arsenal cannot afford to drop any points in the title race.
