Lionel Messi ripped his teammates to shreds while training for Barcelona

How much of Lionel Messi is enough? The answer is indefinite. 

The Argentine messiah never fails to awestruck the viewers with his rich repertoire of skills, irrespective of if you are a football lover or not.

And in a recent video shared on the club’s official Twitter handle, the above words only bear testament.

Ahead of their busy run of fixtures, the Barcelona players were having an intense training round. And the camera captured Messi pull out on his specials from the kitty. 

The squad was training for their weekend La Liga fixture against Mallorca on Sunday.

They next face Inter Milan in a high-octane Champions League group clash against Italian heavyweights Inter Milan on Wednesday. 

The record sixth time Ballon d’ Or winner took on several defenders before putting in a sublime chip over the keeper’s head in the far post. A tough skill to pull off under pressure, the left-footed speedster seemed to do it with such flair and flamboyance. 

France Football presented the Argentine star was presented with the Ballon d’Or award 2019 this Monday.

The victory only emphasized that the Barcelona striker is the best player of all time. 

The 32-year-old won his first Ballon d’Or 10 years ago in 2009 and since then he has gone on to take the award in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Suarez shuns downs Messi’s retirement rumours

Messi, after winning the sixth Ballon d’Or said “the moment of withdrawal is approaching” on Monday.

This led to football fans all across the world speculating of a possible retirement. 

Luis Suarez cleared any air of ambiguity stating that Messi’s quotes were “misunderstood”.

The Uruguayan claimed that Messi meant to say, “He might have to contend with retiring in a couple of years,” (h/t Fox Sports). Suarez believes the Argentine great is still around for a considerable amount of time.
