Wagner to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Huddersfield line-up to face Newcastle

Predicted Huddersfield Town Line-up To Face Newcastle United In The Premier League

Huddersfield Town will look to put an end to a three-game winless streak and go away from relegation danger with a win over Newcastle United at the St. James’ Park on Saturday.

The Terriers find themselves precariously close to the drop zone, sitting at 15th place with 31 points from 31 games. As things stand now, they are just three points above the 18th placed Southampton. Manager David Wagner will be hoping to pull his side further away from the threat of relegation by masterminding a victory over the Magpies on Saturday.

Probable Huddersfield XI

Manager: David Wagner

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jonas Lossl (GK)

The on-loan Polish goalkeeper has had a decent season with the Terriers and remains the first-choice between the sticks, ahead of Joel Coleman and Robert Green.

Florent Hadergjonaj (RB)

The 23-year-old Switzerland international has been preferred at right-back by the manager in recent weeks. Should start this game.

Christopher Schindler (CB)

The German centre-half is an integral part of the Terriers’ side, as indicated by the fact that the 27-year-old has missed only a single Premier League game this season, which was due to suspension.

Mathias Jørgensen

Mathias Jorgensen (CB)

The Danish defender has featured in every Premier League fixture for Huddersfield Town this season and has chipped in with a goal.

Chris Lowe (LB)

The 28-year-old German has appeared 22 times in all competitions but did not start the previous game for the Terriers which they lost 2-0 against Crystal Palace.

Aaron Mooy (CM)

Arguably Huddersfield’s most important player, the Australian international has been passed fit to play after doubts over his availability due to injury.

Aaron Mooy

Jonathan Hogg (CM)

The former Watford midfielder provides the bite and the defensive cover in the middle of the park for the Terriers.

Collin Quaner (RW)

The 26-year-old former German youth international is yet to open his goalscoring account for the season but has set up four goals in the Premier League.

Alex Pritchard (CAM)

The former Norwich City and Tottenham attacking midfielder has made an immediate impact since joining the club in January, scoring once and registering two assists in 7 Premier League outings.

Steve Mounie

Rajiv van La Parra (LW)

The Dutch winger has netted five times and assisted once in 32 fixtures in all competitions this season for Huddersfield.

Steve Mounie (ST)

The five-time capped Benin international is the Terriers’ top goalscorer for the season, having found the back of the net on 8 occasions in 25 games in all competitions.
