Video: Scott Arfield bagged a spectacular hat-trick against Motherwell

Rangers Highlights: Rangers midfielder, Scott Arfield, scored his first professional hat-trick against Motherwell on Sunday.

The Canadian midfielder has been in red hot form, scoring four goals in the space of a week.

The Gers went head-to-head with Wells after gaining confidence from their win against Hearts in midweek.

They went on to win the game 3-0 and all the goals came from Arfield himself.

He opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after benefitting from a pass Jermain Defoe assist, who would go on to do the same for Arfield’s third goal.

The second goal came as a result of some dreadful defending, yet Arfield found the net with great composure.

The 30-year-old was also pivotal in the 2-0 win against Hearts.

The former Huddersfield town player has garnered some impressive numbers for the Light Blues this season, with 11 goals and six assists.

The Gers will play their first match in the Premiership’s second phase against the Jambos next Sunday, followed by some difficult games against Aberdeen and Celtic.
