The goalkeeper made two crucial saves in the penalty shoot-out to see the Blues march to the Europa League final.

With the aggregate score 1-1,  the second-leg at Stamford Bridge looked like anyone’s game.

Maurizio Sarri’s men had the early lead with a brilliant goal from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, only to be cancelled by Luka Jovic in the second half.

The game entered into the penalty shoot-out where the Blues ended as the winners, thanks to the heroics of Arrizabalaga.

Besides that, the Spaniard also made some crucial saves in normal time to deny the German side

Arizzbalaga has endured a tough spell since his arrival to Stamford Bridge, failing to punch above his weight.

The world’s most expensive shot-stopper had moments to justify his price tag.

Eden Hazard scored the winning penalty as the Blues won the shoot-out 4-3.

Despite a fluctuating season, Sarri was still able to finish third in the Premier League table.

The former Napoli manager awaits fellow English club Arsenal in the Europa League final later this month.
