Ex- Arsenal captain Van Persie is now the most popular man in the premier league, at least according to the number of jerseys sold.
Robin van Persie replica kits are selling three times higher than any other players in English Football. It was his Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney who was topping the list till last season.
Now the Dutchman knocked Wayne Rooney off the top spot in the selling charts.
According to online football store Kitbag, Van Persie’s number 20 United shirt sold over a quarter of all named shirt sales. Here is the top ten from the list,
