Chelsea responded late in the first half when Pedro curled a superb shot beyond Hugo Lloris and the comeback was complete when Victor Moses scored in the second half after Diego Costa’s low cross found the Nigerian.
Spurs, though, suffer their first league defeat of the season to cap a miserable week that also saw them knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Monaco.
Antonio Conte’s men climbed back to the top of the table after Man City and Liverpool held the spot respectively for a couple of hours.
