League leaders Manchester city lost their second consecutive game in the season as Tottenham Hotspur defeated them 4-1 at White Hart Lane. An early goal from Manchester City’s most expensive player Kevin De Bruyne gave Manuel Pellegrini’s side lead at 25 minutes but Spurs came back thanks to goals from Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Kane and Erik Lamela.
