It took an additional hour after the deadline last night for Arsenal to confirm Danny Welbeck’s arrival from Manchester United. Arsenal had to pay £16m to the Red Devils to secure the English International’s signature and clearly there have been debates running all across the country about the future of Welbeck at Arsenal.
While most of the fans seem to be happy and believe he could be better than Yaya Sanogo, some have been critical about the club’s ambition as they have signed a United reject, while United have gone on to sign super star Radamel Falcao.
However, Welbeck’s future team mates have given him a warm welcome to the club. His England colleagues Wilshere, Gibbs, Walcott along with seniors Ozil and Arteta have extended their pleasure upon hearing the news.
