Transfer Stories Including Kaka, Isco And Arsenal’s Walcott

Will Walcott finally sign da ting ?

Arsene Wenger commented last week that Arsenal are ready to make big money signings in the near future. Well extending Walcott’s contract will be one hell of a signing by Wenger. The England International is enjoying one of his best season with the North Londoners, with 8 goals from 17 appearances he is just one short of his best total for a complete Premier League campaign. Walcott has convinced Arsenal to compromise on the 23-year-old’s wage demands.

Walcott, whose preference has always been to remain in the London area with fiancee Melanie Slade, has also reduced his salary requests below £100,000 per week despite holding the powerful negotiating position of becoming a free agent this summer.

Though also in the market for a new striker and central midfielder, Arsene Wenger had prioritised the retention of Walcott in the current transfer window.

“The quality of his runs off the ball and the quality of his finishing is where he has progressed the most,” said Wenger last week. If you compare Theo today with three years ago, he is a different animal. Today he finishes in a calm way and very accurately. And he can improve. He’s 23 years old, that’s usually when players start their career. For a striker, he’s coming into the best age now.”

If things go according to the plan, Arsenal will see Walcott around Emirates at-least for another 4 years.

Real Madrid are preparing to cut loose Kaka:

According to El Economista.es Real Madrid are willing to allow Kaka to more for free because that would free up 12 million euros in wages per season. It is thought that Real is desperate to get Kaka off the club’s books so they can offer winger Cristiano Ronaldo a new deal to secure the Portuguese star to the club for the near future.

If it is true, Kaka would be available on a free transfer and it is certain that the Brazilian will be circled around by many of Europe’s top guns.

Chelsea lead Isco Chase:

Rumour has it that Chelsea lead the race to sign Malaga youngster Isco. Chelsea have been given the first option on Malaga midfielder in the summer. The London Evening Standard are reporting that the Blues have been handed the first-option on the 20-year-old in the summer after they loaned out Lucas Piazon for the reminder of this season.

Isco, one of the hottest properties in Europe at the moment, has been chased by several top clubs and earlier this week, Real Madrid had an offer of just over £13 million turned down. Malaga who are struggling financially and know they face a losing battle to keep one of the best young talents in Spain. And the midfielder could form a lethal partnership with Hazard and Mata in the Chelsea midfield.
