The 15-year-old was heavily linked with Manchester City and his hometown club Middlesbrough.
It is believed the teenager’s mother who currently resides at Leeds, played a huge role behind the transfer.
He posted on Instagram,
“Absolutely delighted to have signed my first contract at Leeds United,” “Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way. Hard work starts now!”
Last month, the attacking midfielder was closing in on a move to Ethiad before his mother obstructed the process. (h/t The Sun)
The Black Cats wonderkid is expected to get his place in the Whites youth Squad.
Marcelo Bielsa, who has earned the reputation of nurturing young talents, will definitely keep an eye on this exciting prospect.
