Transfer News: Leeds United eyeing up a move for Iranian midfielder Saied Ezatolahi

Leeds United News: Leeds United are plotting a move for Iranian midfielder Saeid Ezatolahi, according to Leeds Live.

The 22-year-old who currently plays for Russian outfit  Rostov has a contract that expires at the end of next month.

Player stats

Ezatolahi has recently ended his loan spell with Championship club Reading, just making four appearances.

The former Malavan youngster played for Atletico Madrid C team during the 2014-15 season.

Since joining Rostov, he spent his loan spells with Anzhi Makhachkala and Amkar Perm.

He also earned 28 caps for Iranian national team.

Should Leeds move for Ezatolahi?

The Whites are in complete dismay after letting an easy promotion chance go of their hands. Marcelo Bielsa and his men completely looked out of sorts in the crucial stage of the Championship which was cited as a key reason for their debacle.

However, the Argentine manager is vowed to resurrect his side as he is keen on rebuilding the squad for the upcoming season.

The addition of Ezatolahi could be an excellent one yet his injury-prone nature remains a major concern. The Iranian prospect looked good with the limited appearances for his clubs and country yet the recurring injury struggles hindered his progress.

But still, the whites can make use of Ezatolahi by deploying him as a cover for Klavin Phillips, who is literally irreplaceable right now.
