Mustafazada, 22, currently plays as a centre-back for his country based club FC Qabala.
He has made 23 appearances this season, which includes the Europa League qualifier against Rangers.
The defender has earned ten caps for his nation’s U-21 side.
A youth product of his present club, Mustafazada also had loan spells at local club Sumgayit.
His contract is due, later this season.
Lennon looks to reinforce his defence
The Celts can acquire the services of Mustafazada, who could provide cover for them.
The Bhoys are yet to face a defeat since the turn of the year and are nearing towards their eighth straight Premier League title.
Under Lennon, the Scottish club has won six of their last eight games, without facing a single defeat.
