Celtic FC News: Celtic are eyeing a move for Dinamo Zagreb defender Amir Rrahmani, according to The Scottish Sun.
But the Hoops are expected to face competition from Belgium outfit Standard Liege and Ligue 1 club Amiens.
Rrahmani, 25, has had a good season in the Croatian top-flight, bagging a four-goal tally in 26 appearances across all competitions. He also played a helping hand for Zagreb to clinch the league title.
The Kosovo international is currently participating in the Euro Qualifiers 2020, where his side is placed third in Group A.
He commenced his career with his long-time youth club Drenica before opting to move to Partizan Tirana. Later, he had his spells with RNK Split and Lokomotiva.
Neil Lennon has been sorting out the defensive reinforcements, as the Hoops have only limited resources in their high line of defence.
Kristoffer Ajer and Simunovic look the solid centre-backs after Dedryck Boyata sought an exit from Celtic Park.
And the former Albanian international could be a brilliant addition, given his present form and the young age.
Furthermore, Rrahmani is also synonymous with both the full-back positions, which Lennon could largely make use of. The Kosovo international is tied with his current club until 2021.
