Leeds United News: Bournemouth are reportedly interested in Leeds United players Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke claims Football Insider.
Both the players will run out their contract in 2021.
Two crucial players for the Whites
The English duo has played a big hand in the Whites’ promotion this season.
Clarke, 18, is having a decent season so far, despite his interim lay-off at the start of the year, owing to illness. He has scored two goals and assists so far and played more games for the reserves.
Phillips has been one of the industrious players this season, appearing for around 40 games.
The 23-year-old helped his side pick up a draw with his goal in injury time. He has adapted nicely to the role of a defensive midfielder under Marcelo Bielsa.
The English midfielder is also reportedly wanted by another premier league club Southampton.
Potential talks regarding contract extension
Leeds are set to hold talks with Phillips, Clarke and Kemar Roofe, regarding their contract renewal.
Roofe, 26, is the Whites’ top scorer with 14 goals.
Bielsa’s men picked up a hard-fought victory against Sheffield Wednesday, with the help of Jack Harisson’s goal.
The win has pushed Leeds, once again, to the second position in the Championship table, trailing Norwich City by only four points.
