Mirror on Wednesday talked about Premier League giants Manchester United’s ongoing pursuit of Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos. According to their report, it does not seem that the former European champions will be able to reach an agreement with the Red Devils to sell the Spanish international.
Since the departure of Iker Casillas to FC Porto recently, the 29-year-old superstar’s influence at the Bernabeu has been boosted, with reports claiming him to be the new skipper of Real.
Further, the Red Devils are on the verge of signing Argentine international Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia, as his agent looks to complete his client’s exit from the Mestalla.
Despite all these developments, AS further added that Louis van Gaal’s side have submitted a €45m bid for their target and will pay Ramos €11m-per-season for a period of five years.
However, the bid is nowhere near what the La Liga giants are expecting, as Real will consider nothing less than €90m for their superstar center back.
