Liverpool Transfer Updates
According to reports now, Liverpool’s targeted forward Alexandre Lacazette has agreed to a deal. The deal is not with the Premier League outfit, but with his current club Lyon. Brendan Rodgers was looking to sign the 24-year-old France international, who was the top scorer in Ligue 1 in the previous campaign.
Italian newspaper Lacazette dello Sport had also hinted previously that he was wanted by several big clubs though he has now shown that he has no intention of leaving the French giants.
This will not be too much of a shock for the Kop boss now, who according to Inside Futbol was keen on signing the Frenchman prior to the signing of Belgian international Christian Benteke in a big money deal this summer.
With that said, the Reds still need yet another striker as Daniel Sturridge’s fitness still is being questioned, after the England international missed most of last season on the bench, sidelined with frequent injuries.
