Much like Lamela, it has been almost the same case for former Schalke man Lewis Holtby. The promising German has spent most of his time in the sidelines since his Winter Transfer move to Spurs. At Schalke, he was touted as the next big thing in German football, however less game time and lack of proper fitness meant his dazzling talent was curtailed to a significant extent. Now with Eriksen out for a considerable amount of time, it has to be one of the likes of Holtby or Lamela, who should be willing to walk that extra mile to glorify as far as Tottenham’s aspirations of a Champions League place is concerned.
