Harry Kane Set To Start – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Line-up To Face Bournemouth

Dele Alli of Tottenham

Predicted Tottenham Lineup To Take On Bournemouth

Mauricio Pochettino will be a happy man as his Tottenham Hotspur side have been consistent in recent times. They have won each of their 6 previous league games and have not dropped a point since their loss against Liverpool. They put Watford to the sword in the previous game at home and will have a similar test when they welcome Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side to the Lane this weekend. The Cherries lost to Chelsea in the previous round but will hope to put in a better performance against Spurs in this round. Pochettino will want all three points to try and keep up the pressure on Chelsea.

Team News:

Midfielder Victor Wanyama, who missed the previous game, is expected to be back in action after nursing his injury. Harry Kane came off the bench against Watford and should start this tie. But Danny Rose, Harry Winks, and Erik Lamela are all ruled out for this game.

Expected Starting Lineup

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Formation: 4-2-3-1

GK – Hugo Lloris

The French star has been impeccable in front of goal for Spurs and he will hope to back up his clean sheet in the previous game with a similar performance.

RB – Kyle Walker

The first choice English full-back Kyle Walker is an important part of the squad for Pochettino and he should start this game at right-back.

CB – Toby Alderweireld

The Belgian has been sublime at the heart of the defence for Tottenham and he will have to put in a strong performance to give his side a much important victory.

CB – Jan Vertonghen

The partner in crime for Alderweireld, Vertonghen has also been superb and he should partner his Belgian team-mate at the back for Spurs.

LB – Ben Davies

With Danny Rose still not fit enough to start, Pochettino should use Davies in this game at left-back for the Spurs. Davies has been finding his feet slowly and is beginning to look good.

CM – Victor Wanyama

Though he missed the previous game, Wanyama has been the first choice this season and should be back in action this weekend.

CM – Mousa Dembele

The Belgian midfielder has played a huge role in the middle for Tottenham and he will be the danger man for Spurs.

RW – Christian Eriksen

Having found some superb form of late, Eriksen will be the man on who the Cherries have to keep an eye on if they are to take anything away from this game.

CAM – Dele Alli

Alli has been exceptional in this superb run for Spurs recently and Pochettino will hope that he can put in a similar performance this weekend.

LW – Heung-Min Son

The goal scorer for Spurs in the absence of Kane, Son should be pushed on to the wing for this game with the English man set to be back in action.

ST – Harry Kane

The English star came off the bench in the previous game, coming back from an injury and he should lead the attack for his side.

This is how they would line up:
