Former Tottenham star David Ginola believes that Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could end up moving to French Champions Paris Saint-Germain next year.
Manchester United and PSG are among the leading contenders if Ronaldo does decide to end what will be a seven year spell with Real Madrid. On the other hand, Mourinho’s position as Chelsea boss is in huge doubt after a dismal start to the season but has managed to stay as the manager for the Blues.
Ginola told BT Sport that Paris could have a distinct Portuguese influence in 2016. He said: “I think he [Ronaldo] needs a new challenge. I see Ronaldo being in Paris next year. Because they have the money and in terms of the challenge to win the Champions League. I know the Qatari investors would like to have Ronaldo at the club, no matter how much it will cost, they will pay for it. And I can also see Mourinho as the next manager of the team. So I think there’s going to be a lot of Portuguese in Paris.”
