Tottenham Or Arsenal? Which Is A Better Destination For This Thierry Henry-like Kylian Mbappe?

The Premier League is one of the most competitive competitions in the world of football and clubs from around the country have some star players plying their trade, fighting for glory. So it does not come as a surprise when a potential star in the making is wanted by more than one club in the competition. One such player who is wanted by a couple of Premier League clubs is AS Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.

Born and bred in Bondy, France, the 18-year old French U19 international is among the most exciting stars in Europe at the moment. His most recent game in the League 1 yielded him a hat-trick, making him the youngest player to score a League 1 hat-trick since 2005. A striker in every sense of the word, Mbappe, has already adjusted himself to playing on the left-flank when needed for AS Monaco and has constantly drawn comparisons with French legend Thierry Henry. For his age, he has already achieved more than the former Arsenal man and is now wanted by two of the best clubs in the Premier League.

Known for his direct approach to the game, Mbappe loves to dribble past opponents and is one of the toughest guys to track in one-on-one situations in danger areas. He is also decisive with his finishing and is a player with immense potential. Arsene Wenger has been tracking him for a while and is finally ready to move for him but he is joined by Mauricio Pochettino in the race for his signature. So where will Mbappe prosper? At the Emirates or at the Lane?

At just 18, Mbappe is not expected to walk into the first team at either club but with his reputation, he will always be on the fringes of the first team. He is capable of playing on the wing but is at his best as a striker and this is where Tottenham Hotspur might be a better option for the youngster.

Pochettino is a coach who is currently taking care of the youngest team in the tournament and he is sure to give Mbappe plenty of chance to prove himself. Harry Kane is the first choice striker at the club at the moment and Vincent Janssen is his only cover. Though Pochettino might yet look to add other attacking players, Mbappe will surely be in his plans, at least for the cup games. At his age, the French star will not be expected to play every week but he can act as an understudy to one of the deadliest finishers in the league.

On the other hand, at the Emirates, Wenger is desperate to add a top class striker to his squad and will not settle for the 18-year old. He has also got star striker Olivier Giroud to sign a contract extension while Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez will also be fighting for this place. Alexis Sanchez has been the most productive as a striker and is another option, leaving Mbappe with little playing time even in domestic competitions.

Arsene Wenger is a decent man manager and will give Mbappe chances to prove himself but at the moment, a move to the White Hart Lane is the best option between the two for the upcoming star. Do you think Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur is a better destination for Kylian Mbappe this summer?
