Top Three Tottenham Youngsters Who Have A Great Future Ahead Of Them

Tottenham have been one of the best clubs in the Premier League and it is no surprise that they are close to the top of the table. While Chelsea have stolen the march for the title, Tottenham have provided them stiff competition and were genuine contenders thanks to their youthful team.

The squad has consistently been the youngest in the Premier League and performances from the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have impressed many across the country.

Mauricio Pochettino has worked wonders with the Spurs and the base of the team is built on great young talent. It shouldn’t be a surprise that many bookmakers like rate Spurs as one of the favourites not only for the FA Cup this season but also for the Premier League in the upcoming seasons.

Tottenham do have the next batch of stars ready and we list out three players who have a great future ahead of them.

Harry Winks

A lifelong Spurs fan who is getting to live the dream, Winks was close to breaking into the first team last season but has gotten important minutes under Pochettino this time around. The 21-year-old English midfielder made his full debut for the club in a dramatic game against West Ham United and even scored in the 3-2 win for his side.

Winks has made 13 appearances in the Premier League this season and his position in the Spurs team is rapidly growing as he provides the manager with a great option off the bench. Winks does have a great future ahead of him, as long as he continues performing well.

Josh Onomah

Another midfielder that has a lot of potential to become one of the best in the country, Onomah is another product from the Tottenham ranks. He has made his debut for the side in a 4-2 FA Cup win over Burnley in 2015.

Last season was a breakthrough year for Onomah as he made 19 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions. Moreover, the attacking midfielder has played for the first team a further 11 times this season. Onomah would give Winks great competition in the future, but we see this as a terrific way for both players to further improve their game.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

A defender also makes the list with Carter-Vickers. The 19-year-old is another player with a great future at the side. Carter-Vickers hasn’t featured for the London side in the Premier League but has played four times in the two domestic cup competitions this season.

The centre-back does have some competition ahead of him with the likes of Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld dominating. However, Cameron could be a great option to replace Kevin Wimmer or Eric Dier in the future.
