In 29 appearances this season, Shaw’s dazzling ability hasn’t gone unnoticed as he has attracted the biggest of names in the Premier League. His trademarks bursts forward is a testament of his raw pace, the willingness to run the extra mile for his team and ability to make it count in the biggest of stages. He is a very disciplined defender, hardly lunging into tackles and rarely does he give the ball away with his superb passing. Defensively, his greatest strengths lies in getting the second balls in the dangerous areas and his measure clearances from the back is an asset to his side.
Southampton should try to keep him at-least for another year.
