It is not a secret to anyone that Arsene Wenger is an enthusiast of young players, and even if not every time things have gone well with his philosophy, there have been a lot of good times for the French boss’ team as well.

Although he’s had some regrets about certain players, Wenger almost every time has found a gem in a youngster. For instance, former England standout Andy Cole was part of Arsenal’s academy, and many others. Today,  we’ll take a look at the top 5 Arsenal young players who can become a superstar in the coming years.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles:

Like most of Arsenal’s prospects, Maitland-Niles is a prodigy with the ball in his feet. Besides, Maitland-Niles is a “workaholic”, as his former coach Mick McCarthy said that the youngster’s constantly working to improve his game. He has already played in the UEFA Champions League as he replaced Aaron Ramsey against Galatasaray in 2014, that day he became Arsenal’s second-youngest Champions League player, just behind Jack Wilshere. This kid is only 19 years old and he still has time to improve his skills, but given the experience he has already recorded with Ipswich Town, you can tell he’s definitely special.

Yassin Fortune:

Fortune is a versatile striker, who arrived in North London last year from RC Lens, where he played for their U-19 team. Yassin can play either as a striker, or a playmaker. He has been doing great things, not only with his club, but representing his country as well; as Yassin has played for the U17 France national team with great success. This guy is only 17 years old, so he’ll need more experience before making an impact for the gunners.
