John Terry
The Chelsea veteran was not handed a new contract by Conte and his legendary career at West London is all over. However, the Englishman has shown no hints of hanging up his boots and wants to continue playing. The English veteran who has tasted success at the bigger stages, will be a valuable addition to any premier league club with his experience. Centre-back is not necessarily a role which needs a spring chicken and unless you deploy a Guardiola brand of football, a keen reader and a good tackler like Terry should fit into most clubs. And what more, he is available for free!
Jack Wilshere
The Englishman’s career in North London is at a severe threat after his latest injury. No one would have expected the born and raised Arsenal supporter to leave the Emirates after witnessing his breathtaking performance against Barcelona in 2011. Wilshere was handed the prestigious number 10 shirt after Van Persie’s departure. However, with injury after injury, Wilshere’s game time and confidence has been in steady decline and he couldn’t really establish himself in the first team squad.
It looked like Wilshere had put his injury troubles aside after winning back to back Bournemouth’s player of the month awards when on loan. But the joy was short-lived as he suffered a fracture in April and missed the remainder of the season. With his contract set to expire at the end of this upcoming season, there are questions if Arsenal would want to have the unpredictable Wilshere on their books. But the Englishman, who has proven his undisputed quality every now and then, is certainly worth a punt for many clubs. As seen in his spell at Bournemouth, when fit, Wilshere is a wonderful engine who can run shows from the midfield.
Daniel Sturridge
Another Englishman who seems to suffer from a never-ending injury battle is Daniel Sturridge. After a stellar debut season with Liverpool, Sturridge’s value has been in slow decline. When good, Sturridge is as good as it gets. However, sadly for the Liverpool fans, Sturridge mostly hangs out with the doctors in Melwood complex than with the players.
With Klopp clearly favoring Firmino and Origi to start as strikers, Sturridge’s career at Livepool is seemingly at its end. Sturridge could be an expensive yet rewarding gamble for the right punter. With no questions about his quality, maybe a new manager and time away from the ‘Gegenpressing’ football can re-ignite the 27 year old’s career.
Luke Shaw

He made a big money move to United and he has not had greatest of times at the theatre of dreams as his career has been plagued by fitness concerns. Accused by the manager for not being dedicated, it seems everything has gone wrong for the youngster in Manchester. Mourinho has showed in the past that he is not afraid to sell star players if they don’t fit his tactics and a decent bid will be enough to sign the exciting left-back.
Cesc Fabregas
Fabregas is a true phenom who completely splits opinion among fans. When he’s good, he is worshipped as world class and when he’s bad, he’s perceived weak and inept. After a truly stellar start to his career and winning the armband at a very young age with Arsenal, he made a controversial move to Barcelona. His career began with a bang and ended with a whimper in Catalonia.
When he made yet another controversial move to Arsenal’s rivals in West London, Barcelona made a strong statement in their website regarding Fabregas, accusing him of running out of steam consistently in second half of the seasons.
His move to Chelsea almost vindicated that. His first half of the season was amazing with breathtaking through balls and assists and he was running the show from midfield. However, there was a marked difference in second half and the performances dipped alarmingly. The next season was ordinary for him and the club, and he was accused of revolting against Mourinho.
Under Conte, he has struggled for game time and has been more of a super-sub. Premier league’s second leading assist maker only started 13 premier league games and was relegated to the bench for most of the games. The 12 assists and 5 goals he recorded despite no clear role in the team showcased his sheer talent. A decent bid should get Fabregas, though he will be missed by the fans.
