With the new Premier League season not even a month away, all the teams are busy getting in the transfers they need to be ready for the grueling season ahead. The Aston Villa captain had a fantastic World Cup and will be more than comfortable with Louis Van Gaal’s tactics given how he was managed by the Manchester United manager at Brazil. Given how the temptation of playing for a big club can force Aston Villa to sell him for cheap this is an option Manchester United can always go for. Also Arsenal are looking for an experienced defender to play as back up to Koscielny and Mertesacker and they can do a lot worse than Ron Vlaar.
